On the road from Tibet

(2010)

Tom Volf has forged a unique approach to photography by combining artistic exploration with an existential quest. Through his projects, he has travelled to remote and mysterious places, such as the Far North and Tibet, to capture authentic images. Using a 1958 Rolleiflex, Volf rejects modern technology to offer a raw, timeless vision of his subjects. His photography, far removed from digital effects, invites us to travel through forgotten landscapes and eras.
