Official cover

The soundtrack of the documentary Maria by Callas by Tom Volf (2017) brings together the historic recordings and performances that punctuate the film. It presents, in the order of the film's narrative, the arias and lieder that made the Callas legend — excerpts chosen from her most memorable performances of the 1950s and 1960s.

The album accompanied the film's international theatrical release and offers a musical gateway into the intimate portrait Tom Volf paints of the singer.
